My duties included:

-Optimize expenses of the company

-Optimise the driver's schedule by creating Excel spreadsheets and filing them.

-Record-keeping of the equipment in the trucks, buying missing equipment-Making sure all loads are delivered, and all PPW are valid.

-Optimizing fuel expenses.

-Optimizing work with CAT scales.-Connecting the company to One step GPS system.-Optimizing work with TMS system ( Alvys )

-Creating instructions for the driver so they follow the company rules.

-Resolving any types of problems with fuel cards and RTS system.

-Keeping the right communication in the team.

-Keeping records and logs of everything that is going on in the company. -Control of all documentation.

-Control everything that going on in the company.

-scheduling all repairs, monitoring the fleet's condition, and helping with any emergency brake-downs.

-control of all expenses.

-recruiting and educating new drivers.

-working with all company documentation (contract for employees, lease agreements, rent agreements, renewing insurance, closing tickets of the drivers, etc…

-closing and resolving claims from the customer.

-resolving all confrontations inside the company.

-Helping the billing team to solve any kind of problems.

-monitoring and control of income, ensuring all checks from the driver will be delivered to the bank, and ensuring the company receives all payments from the customers. -Avoiding all kinds of fraud-creating, filling, and controlling monthly mileage logs.

My duties included:-Working with all kinds of documentation, such as Rate confirmations, Manifest, Permits, PODs, W9, COI forms, etc.-

Setting up the customers and carriers through the company system. -Searching for clients: Shippers, direct customers, freight forwarders, and other Freight brokers.-Building business and friendly relations with them.-

Work to promote long-term relationships with customers, plant operators, and truck drivers.- Making a lot of Bids and quotes on their loads with fuel cost calculation, TOLLS calculation, correct $ per mile for exact lane calculation, etc.

Work on covering their freight ( searching for trucks and receiving calls timely)

Maximised profits by effectively negotiating carrier and customer pricing.

Dispatching the driver to the loading area.

Making appointments as needed for Pick-up and delivery.

Full Transport control-Providing all updates to the customer.

After the load is done, work with Billing, and send POD + Invoice to the customer billing department.- Payment status control.

My average margin as a broker was: $ 10,000- $ 15,000. The best margin result was in March 2022:$60 000 I was working with all types of trailers and any kind of complicated commodities such as Hazmat, Heavy haul, Drayage, High value, Oversize, and Temp control. I have been using: Parade load boards, DAT, truck stop, TMS, Central Dispatch, and Super dispatch. Also a lot of private load boards, for Circle, HUB group, TQL, D&L and etc.
