Amazon wholesale (FBA) business, US market. Owned purchasing end-to-end, from supplier sourcing to order validation, with ~35 suppliers across automotive, tools, patio, beauty, office and other categories.
• Sourced and onboarded a key distributor through manufacturer research, approaching them with a ready shortlist of target products. Scaled the account to ~$100K/month in purchasing (~$1.2M/year, about half of company revenue).
• Planned order volumes from sales velocity, stock levels and returns. Monitored competitor inventory and pricing via Keepa.• Validated pricing and product data before every PO, catching errors that would hit margin or put the seller account at risk.
• Built inventory-tracking and order-validation sheets from scratch in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Achieved ~10% cost reduction through data-informed sourcing and supplier negotiations.
• Coordinated with prep centers / 3PL and compared freight forwarder rates.
• Trained and supported two colleagues on purchasing processes.
