• Translation of the European Parliament & Council Directives and acquis communautaire for legal approximation in the EU member states from English into Ukrainian
• Interpreting English-Ukrainian-English or English-Russian-English at official meetings, workshops and conferences

• Translation of the World Bank and TACIS-funded project documents from English, French or Polish into Ukrainian and from French, Russian or Polish into English
• Interpreting English-Ukrainian-English or English-Russian-English at official meetings with the project counterparts (the Ministry of Fuel and Energy and the National Electricity Regulatory Commission of Ukraine), as well as facilitation of training seminars for their representatives
• Participation in publishing the Analytical Quarterly sponsored by the European Commission Delegation in Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus

• Interpreting French-Ukrainian-French or English-Ukrainian-English at official meetings, technical sessions and business trips (to France and within Ukraine) with senior officials of the Ministry of Energy and Energoatom National Atomic Energy-generating Company of Ukraine
• Proofreading of externally translated equipment specifications and other contractual documents for the Dnister Hydro Pumped Storage Plant and Khmelnitsky-2/Rivne-4 Nuclear Power Plants Completion/Upgrading Projects
• Office management duties

• Interpreting English-Ukrainian-English at official meetings with the project beneficiary representatives (the Ministry of Energy, Ukrenergo National Electricity-grid Company and Oblenergos Local Electricity-supplying Companies on the EU TACIS EUK9402 project of Restructuring the Power Sector in Ukraine, and the State Committee of Ukraine for Energy Conservation on the EU TACIS EUK9803 project of Development of a National Energy Conservation Information Network for Ukraine), as well as during visits to Oblenergos and to the NECIN Regional Centers
• Facilitation of training courses and seminars, including preparation of slides using MS Power Point and translation of presentation materials involving Ukrainian, English and Russian
• Active participation in building up the NECIN Web-site using Adobe Acrobat, MS Word and AutoCAD software
• Proofreading of drafts and overall responsibility for compilation of the final version of such important documents as Progress Reports
• Office management duties

Facilitation of contacts with construction authorities and companies in Guinea and Morocco with a view of establishing a close partnership (joint venture) between HYMEC on the one part, and SOMIDRAT and SOGECON companies, respectively, on the other part, to carry out substantial construction projects in various regions of Western and Central Africa

• Facilitation of contacts with foreign construction authorities and companies in Africa
• Translation of framework Inter-Governmental Agreements from Ukrainian into English or French and preparation of specific contracts with potential partners based on the above
• Translation of Ukrainian legislative and regulatory documents into English or French for the information of such foreign partners and translation of foreign legislative and regulatory documents into Ukrainian for the information of the Ministry
• Interpreting for Ukrainian Governmental delegations
