Planning regular activities, organizing trainings, workshops, meeeting, supervising unit activities, monitoring and evaluation of day to day activities, assistanse and support of subordinates in challenging issues.

• Ensure that following duties assigned to the Team Site are carried out within regulations:

1. Community Policing - to encourage community involvement in the process of conflict resolution and problem-solving in close cooperation with Liberia National Police;
2. Public Relations - to build a constructive relationship with the public and represent the virtues of a society that adheres to the rule of law;
3. Liaison with local community leaders - to establishing open communication between Liberia National Police /UNPOL and the community;
4. Patrols - to establish crime prevention patrols within AOR in order to maintain visibility and accessibility to the public and to maintain a watchful presence for the safety and security of the community;
5. Encouraging the return of the Liberia National Police - in collaboration with Reform and Restructuring and Training and Development Divisions, to promote the return of Liberian citizens to the service of their communities through enlistment into LNP Service;
6. Field Training - to follow the guidelines set forth by the Field Training Officer program to advise and train the local police in their duties;
7. Liaison with NGOs - to support the humanitarian efforts of Non-Governmental Organizations whenever possible providing that it does not interfere with the independent nature of their work and does not in any way compromise the mandate of the UN Police;
8. Non-compliance reporting of offences committed by local police - to monitor the progress and performance of the local police officers under their mentorship;
9. Prisoner inspections and Human Rights monitoring of all detentions - on a daily basis, to inspect and record their observations on the conditions and treatment of all detainees held in municipal detention facilities;
10. Courts and Due process monitoring - to closely monitor at each stage, from arrest to prosecution to sentencing, for transparency and ethical treatment of all citizens in legal prosecutions;
11. Management training - to conduct training for Liberia National Police administrators on personnel management, disciplinary issues, administrative tasks, resource scheduling or any other matters pertaining to the management of police stations;
12. Liaison with Military on security matters - to gather information on security related issues and forward it to the UNPOL Liaison/Joint Operations Center as well as to coordinate their efforts with their military counterparts on matters related to security:
