• full legal support of food products (vegetable oils, mayonnaise, etc.) sales and distribution (food/labelling & antimonopoly regulations (including communications with Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine re their reviews/investigations of the company's activities), IP license agreements, managing change of the prices, advertisement, marketing & logistics issues, domestic/export sales & distribution agreements (including agreements with retail chains), structuring of supplies of goods and services - domestic and export/import, etc.); acting as a legal partner to food department
• support on various legal issues: IT services import agreements, finance contracts review (insurance/loans), compliance (drafting/review of internal policies, FCPA/anti-bribery compliance, economic sanctions, antitrust compliance), criminal investigations against the company/its employees, agri commodities (grains/crude vegetable oil) sales contracts (domestic/export), confidentiality and management services/recharges agreements, internal legal consulting
• support within various M&A projects (negotiations, documentary support, legal due diligences (conducting own ones as well as review of those performed by legal companies)
• at the position of Tax Manager: dealing with internal tax consulting and tax optimization of the activities, calculation of effective tax rate under US GAAP, preparation of Fin48 calculations, full support within the administrative stage of appealing tax office's decisions
• support within regular annual general shareholders' meetings at a closed joint stock company (later - private joint stock company) - large manufacturer of vegetable oil; no major negative drawbacks

Key achievements/projects:

• legal support on acquisition of new greenfield project (grain/meal/oil transshipment facility and vegetable oil plant) in Mykolaiv, Ukraine worth 180 MUSD and further full legal support on construction (including support on the import of equipment) of this facility; no major negative drawbacks
• supervision and support on all legal aspects of the functioning of newly constructed grain transshipment facility in Mykolaiv, Ukraine worth 100 MUSD with no major negative drawbacks
• versatile management experience (managed 2-7 subordinates in various locations in Ukraine)
• full and continuous support on a number of multi-million tax cases (several hundred MUSD in Value Added Tax and Corporate Income Tax); the majority of the cases were won
• counter-acting against raiders attacks at a silo (included legal and PR actions)
• introduction in 2014 of internal economic sanctions compliance program (i.e. economic sanctions due to the situation in Crimea/Ukraine) which is currently operational
• pro bono projects: active participation within business organizations (EBA/ACC) on drafting Tax Code in 2010 and cancellation of state price regulation for food products (2014 - 2016)
