Ehvert Inc. is actively looking for a Computational/Generative Design Engineer to join our team.

We are one of the leading companies in the data center field. We design large-scale data centers for the world’s leading cloud providers and tech firms, such as Microsoft, Uber, and others. We design and, in many cases, manage the construction process of the facility including the complex electrical, mechanical, automation and security systems to power, cool and secure the large number of computers that are housed in these facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Develop and implement generative design algorithms to optimize data center layout, electrical systems,  cooling systems, and overall efficiency
·       Utilize computational tools to model and simulate data center scenarios, evaluating performance and identifying areas for improvement
·       Design and implement optimization strategies for power usage, space utilization, and resource allocation in the data center
·       Analyze data center performance metrics, identify trends, and propose data-driven recommendations for enhancements
·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement design changes and improvements
·       Create and maintain documentation for generative design algorithms, computational models, and optimization strategies
·       Conduct testing and validation of computational models to ensure accuracy and reliability
·       Continuously evaluate and improve data center design and computational methodologies based on evolving technology and business requirements
·       Manage projects related to generative design and optimization, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

·       Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering Physics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
·       Experience with simulation tools for modeling and analysis
·       Proficiency in computational design tools and languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB)
·       Experience with generative design techniques and algorithms
·       Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud computing
·       Understanding of networking concepts and protocols
·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
·       Attention to detail in identifying areas for improvement
·       Excellent communication skills and a fast learner
