HR Performance Manager
HALO Trust is the world’s largest humanitarian demining organisation, working to protect lives and restore livelihoods of people affected by conflict. Headquartered in the United Kingdom, HALO is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious organisation currently working to remove the debris of war in over 25 countries.
Overall Objective:
Under the leadership of the Head of HR, oversee processes and initiatives to improve overall employee performance and productivity to achieve the organization's strategic goals.
Tasks and Responsibilities:

Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Implementation of Performance Management Systems: Designing and implementing performance appraisal systems, including goal setting, performance measurement, and feedback mechanisms.
- Designing and implementing a mechanism of remuneration based on the results of performance assessment.
- Performance Evaluation: Conducting regular performance evaluations and reviews to assess individual and team performance against set objectives.
- Performance Improvement Plans: Collaborating with line managers to identify underperforming employees and develop performance improvement plans to address skill gaps and enhance performance.
- Working with employees to develop their skills and capabilities by identifying training needs and facilitating relevant learning opportunities.
- Data Analysis: Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting performance-related data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for recognition and reward.
- Communication and Feedback: Facilitating open and constructive communication between employees and their supervisors, providing feedback on performance, and guiding managers on effective performance conversations.
- Ensuring that performance management practices align with legal requirements and organizational policies.
Performance Culture Enhancement: Promoting a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and accountability throughout the organization.
- Reporting: Generating regular reports to Head of HR on key performance metrics and outcomes, and making recommendations for improvement.
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience (required), ideally within a humanitarian context;
- Proficient with Internet and Microsoft Office;
- Previous experience working within a non-governmental organisation;
- Previous experience with 1C accounting software an advantage;
- Fluent in Ukrainian; B2+ English level, working knowledge of Russian an asset;
- Attention to details, ability to organise and prioritise workload, strong leadership and communication skills, good analytical and problem-solving skills, ;
- Solid work ethic with the ability to work productively under pressure;
- Autonomous self-starter capable of working independently or as part of a team;
- Adaptable and flexible with the ability to prioritise competing tasks;
- Commitment to HALO Trust principles commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards.
- Official employment.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00, one hour lunch break (40 hours per week).
