We are seeking an experienced Web Developer to support and enhance a cutting-edge product in the unified communications domain. If you're passionate about creating impactful solutions, tackling complex challenges, and improving software reliability, this opportunity is for you!
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Web Developer, you will:
- Maintain and Enhance Applications: Ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of software applications using PHP and JavaScript.
- Troubleshoot and Debug: Resolve production issues escalated by L3 technical support, minimizing customer impact.
- Optimize Performance and Security: Implement improvements to meet high-performance and security standards.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance the product ecosystem.
- Document Development Work: Provide clear, detailed documentation to facilitate software understanding and future maintenance.
What You’ll Need
- Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on development experience with PHP and JavaScript.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS, HTTP, SSH, and HTTP server technologies.
- Proficiency in SQL, including engines, indexes, optimization, and transactions.
- Understanding of OOP, SOLID, DRY, TDD, and DDD principles, as well as design patterns and PSR standards.
- Communication: Spoken English at a B2 level or higher.
Bonus Points
- Leadership: Previous experience in a leading role.
- Quality Assurance: Experience with unit testing to ensure code quality.
- Specialized Skills:
- Familiarity with WebRTC for real-time communication.
- Knowledge of SIP/RTP protocols for data transmission.
- Proficiency with *nix systems.
