AGA Partners is looking for Associate and Senior Associate to join our International Arbitration & International Trade practice.
We offer an excellent opportunity to obtain unique knowledge of international trade law and to participate in real projects in the area of international arbitration.
Key responsibilities:
- Work directly on international arbitration cases;
- Run matters independently (with partner oversight), including strategy development and day-to-day case management;
- Draft high-quality procedural submissions and correspondence (pleadings, witness statements, expert instructions, legal opinions);
- Provide practical legal advice to major trading companies (Ukrainian and international clients);
- Lead workstreams, delegate effectively, mentor junior colleagues, and collaborate in a team environment;
- Follow and help improve internal procedures and knowledge-management standards.
Knowledge and experience:
- Higher education, LL.M. will be a privilage;
- 2+ years relevant experience for senior associate;
- Strong written and spoken English (legal and business);
- Solid legal writing, analytical skills, and the ability to process large volumes of information;
- Excellent time management, organization, and communication; confidence engaging with clients at all levels;
- Tech-savvy (MS Word/Outlook; general proficiency with modern productivity tools);
- Full-time availability.
