Експерт з гендерної рівності та протидії гендерно обумовленому насиллю/Gender and GBV Coordinator

Save the Children International — гуманітарна організація з понад 100-річною історією. Save the Children була заснована у травні 1919 року в Лондоні. 

SCI працює в Україні з 2014. Починала свою роботу на території Донецької області. В теперішній час SCI розширює свою діяльність на вісім міст України, і Київ є одним із них. 

Ми працюємо в напрямках освіти, захисту дітей, подолання дитячої бідності, охорони здоров’я, а також проводимо адвокаційну діяльність, пов’язану із захистом прав дітей

Зараз ми шукаємо Експерта з гендерної рівності та протидії гендерно обумовленому насиллю 

Головна роль спеціаліста - це для дотримання  в організації міжнародних стандартів та найкращих  практик для  забезпечення гендерної чутливості і впливати на наші програми для бенефіціарів  

Основні обов'язки:

• Допомога в розробці (для конкретних проектів і в масштабах реагування) Планів дій з гендерних питань, щоб вони відображали ґендерні потреби бенефіціарів і представили ключові висновки рекомендації керівництву
• Координувати проектну діяльність, спрямовану на розвиток жіночих спільнот, егалітарного виховання дітей та сприяння гендерній рівності
• Визначити можливості для цілеспрямованих заходів щодо гендерної рівності та гендерного насильства.
• Допомога в розробці комунікаційних повідомлень про ризики гендерного насильства з урахуванням гендерних аспектів
• Захист від сексуальної експлуатації та насильства
• За потреби організовуйте тренінги з питань гендерного насильства для наявного та нового персоналу та партнерських організацій
• Визначити існуючі офіційні та неформальні мережі для жінок, дівчат-підлітків та ЛГБТК+; і ідентифікувати можливі можливості для співпраці 

Обов'язкові умови для кандидатів:

• 1+ рік досвіду роботи в ролі спеціаліста з гендерних питань та з боротьби з гендерним насильством
• Здатність координувати гендерні інтервенції в надзвичайних ситуаціях
• Досвід інтеграції гендерних питань  та питань з протидії гендерно обумовленому насиллю в гуманітарних організаціях.
• Сильна обґрунтованість принципів гендерної рівності, гендерної справедливості та взаємозв’язку та здібностей застосувати це на практиці в роботі
• Досвід зі збору, аналізу та інтерпретації  інформації 
• Доведена здатність використовувати дані та аналіз для впливу на програмні зміни
• Високий рівень письмової та усної англійської та місцевої мови, включаючи здатність писати чітко та аргументовані звіти.

Save the Children International is the humanitarian organization with more than 100 years of history. Save the Children was founded in May 1919 in London.

SCI has been working in Ukraine since 2014. The Organization started its work in the territory of the Donetsk region. Currently, SCI is expanding its activities to eight cities of Ukraine, and Kyiv is one of them.

We work in the directions of education, child protection, overcoming child poverty, health care, and also we have advocacy activities related to the protection of children's rights.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

• Assist in development of (project specific and response wide) Gender Action Plans; provide technical gender and GBV guidance on joint assessments
• to ensure these reflect the gendered needs of beneficiaries and present key findings and recommendations to leadership
• Coordinate the project activities aimed at development of women’s community building, egalitarian parenting and gender equality promotion
• Identify opportunities for targeted Gender Equality and GBV interventions.
• Assist in development of child and gender-sensitive communication messages about GBV risks and
• Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse
• Contribute to GBV risks mitigation in programmes, operations, and programme areas, looking for
• groups that may be at higher risk (e.g. adolescent girls, disabled children, children without
• appropriate care)
• Identify and ensure integration of gender and GBV with other programme sectors – e.g. in the Mobile
• Health Unit, CFS’s and schools
• Organize gender and GBV trainings to existing and new staff and partner organizations as required
• (including GBV Guiding Principles for safe and ethical referrals)
• Identify existing formal and informal networks for women, adolescent girls’ and LGBTQ+; and identify
• possible opportunities for collaboration
• Assessments and Monitoring:
• Ensure gender sensitive application of the existing MEAL tools and approaches
• Assist in development of accessible and trusted reporting mechanisms based on feedback from

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• 1+ years experience of working in Gender and/or GBV role
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate gender interventions in emergencies
• Demonstrated experience of mainstreaming gender and GBV issues in a humanitarian response
• Strong grounding in the principles of gender equality, gender equity, and intersectionality and ability
• to apply this in practice to the work
• Strong skills in collecting, analysing, interpreting and encouraging the use of both qualitative and
• quantitative data
• Proven ability in using data and analysis to influence programmatic change
• Experience of working through systems of community participation and accountability, including
• training staff in relevant approaches
• A high level of written and spoken English and local language, including an ability to write clear and
• well-argued reports.
• Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills
• Politically and culturally sensitive with qualities of patience, tact, and diplomacy
