Chief Accountant

On behalf of our client, international production engineering company in automotive sphere, we are looking for successful candidate to fill the position of Chief Accountant, Kyiv

Main Responsibilities:

• The main task for the first period will be transition from outsourcing to internal accounting system;
• Work with the outsourcing company regarding the provision of information and explanations on all types of the company's activities;
• Preparing and timely submit statutory, financial and tax reporting in accordance with Ukrainian applicable legislation;
• Contact with Tax Authorities;
• Ensure that all tax reporting and compliance requirements are met;
• Working with the client bank, creating payments and payment registers for management approval;
• Calculation of salaries, vacations and other mandatory calculations;
• Control over timely preparation of advance reports, preparation of orders;
• Control of receivables, work with suppliers and company managers to obtain primary documentation;

Main Requirements:

• University degree;
•  Last 3+ years of proven working experience as a Chief Accountant/Senior Accountant/ Deputy Chief Accounting preferable in a production company with foreign investments;
• Knowledge and current working  experience with all accounting areas (VAT, profit, advanced reports, salary calculation etc.;
• Know and follow new changes in accounting standards and regulations;
• Start-up experience as a Chief Accounting, will be a plus;
• Ability to gather and analyse data and to work with figures;
• Experienced PC user, advanced user of office programs (Excel, Word), BAS or SAP or other ERP system;
• Analytical thinking, initiative, attentive to details, self-organization, responsibility, critical thinking;
• Good knowledge of the English language (oral and written is a must).
