Legal counsel

We are looking for a person who ready to participate in various legal projects and help the company to improve internal legal processes. Legal Counsel provides a full range of legal services to upper management on relevant issues, ensuring compliance with internal controls and other formalities.

Required qualification and professional qualities:

• higher legal education;
• work experience from 3 years;
• excellent communication skills;
• English - Advanced (incl. professional legal);

Responsibilities:

- contract work, contract templates;

- work with authorities (responses to requests, incl. tax authorities);

- support for investigative actions;

- support of issues related to the collection of port dues;

- provision of legal consultations related to the activities of the container terminal (including on tax, customs, environmental issues, construction issues, land, etc.);

- claim work;

- registration of corporate issues (protocol of the general meeting, orders / powers of attorney, revisions of the charter, support of registration actions, etc.);

- consultations on the legislation application in the field of regulation of the enterprise, providing clarifications and recommendations;

- monitoring of changes in legislation in the field of regulation of container terminal activities;

- implementation of DP World policies and procedures to the DPW TIS Pivdennyi;

- coordination of employee  documentation;

- support and coordination of inspections by state authorities;

- coordination of internal policies and procedures of the company;

- consultation for company employees;

- organization and support of obtaining a residence permit/work permit for foreign citizens;

- interaction with law firms and external lawyers.
