New country, new partner ✈ We're extremely excited to announce that HappyTravel.sk tour operator has joined us as our first business partner in Slovakia. According to a year-long contract, SkyUp MT  will operate flights on the Hurghada-Košice and Hurghada-Pieştiana routes. The first flight departed from Hurghada to Košice on April 25. We're delighted to have you among our partners, which include tour operators from Ukraine, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Germany, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Baltic countries, and Turkey. We are pleased to announce a new partnership for as as ACMI provider. SkyUp has signed a contract with US-Bangla Airlines. The first flight took place on 07th of April.This collaboration opens up new horizons for us, bringing fresh challenges and territories to explore. We continue to be reliable partner and expand our partner network. In the words of our Head of ACMI department, Oleksii Tarasov,  "This partnership marks a significant milestone for us, and we're eager to embark on this journey of growth and opportunity." Under this contract spanning 2024-2025, US-Bangla Airlines will operate flights from its base in Dhaka to destinations including the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Malaysia, Singapore, and the Seychelles. In an exclusive interview with ch-aviation, SkyUp Airlines CEO, Dmytro Sieroukhov, has shared details about redirected SkyUp focus towards ACMI and being a charter provider due to market dynamics. The airline's recent IOSA certification further bolsters its appeal in the ACMI segment, positioning it for sustained growth and reliability as a partner. He also spoke about the intention to to expand the airline's fleet with additional B737-800s in 2024 and 2025. SkyUp Airlines has signed a contract with Wizz Air for the period from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025. The contract provides for the involvement of three SkyUp™ aircraft on ACMI terms. Two of these aircraft will be based in Bucharest (OTP) and another in Warsaw (WAW).    «The development of transportation under ACMI contracts is currently a central component of our development strategy. Signing the contract with Wizz Air is an important stage for us because we already have a positive experience of cooperation with this air carrier. This once again confirms that SkyUp™ is a reliable partner for European leaders in air transport and can provide a high level of safety and quality of services,» says Dmytro Sieroukhov, CEO SkyUp Airlines.   «We are happy to announce our partnership with SkyUp. We receive training on a par with the largest and most recognizable airlines of the continent, and in some ways we are definitely ahead of them. In addition, many of our SkyUp employees, who were forced to leave our company due to the invasion of russia, are now happy to return to us.
