Medical Advisor

The Medical Advisor at Biocodex Ukraine plays a key role in providing scientific and medical expertise to support the company’s strategic objectives. This position involves close collaboration with internal teams (marketing, sales, regulatory affairs) and external stakeholders (healthcare professionals, medical associations, regulatory bodies) to ensure accurate and ethical communication of medical information. The Medical Advisor also contributes to clinical projects, medical education, and scientific engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Medical Expertise & Scientific Communication

• Provide medical and scientific support to internal teams, ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
• Develop and deliver scientific presentations, training, and materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Review and approve promotional and non-promotional materials for scientific accuracy.
• Respond to medical inquiries from healthcare professionals and internal departments.

2. Stakeholder Engagement & KOL Management

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), medical societies, and healthcare institutions.
• Participate in and support medical conferences, advisory boards, and expert meetings.
• Organize and facilitate scientific discussions, medical roundtables, and symposia.

3. Clinical & Medical Projects

• Collaborate with regulatory and pharmacovigilance teams to ensure compliance with local and international guidelines.
• Support medical education initiatives and disease awareness campaigns.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure medical alignment in strategic plans.
• Support the development of training programs for field force teams.
• Provide insights on market trends, competitor activities, and medical needs to shape business strategies.

Key Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Medical degree (MD, PharmD, or equivalent in life sciences).
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a medical affairs role in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Previous experience in CNS, gastroenterology, or microbiota-related therapeutic areas is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong medical and scientific knowledge with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
• Excellent presentation, training, and scientific writing skills.
• Experience in engaging with KOLs and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate in a dynamic environment.
• Fluency in Ukrainian and English (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High ethical standards and compliance orientation.
