Currently, the agency's team is actively working on projects in Ukraine aimed at restoring infrastructure, supporting communities and helping people affected by the war.
Key Responsibilities
The Expert in Contracting and Administrative Work will ensure efficient contract management and administrative processes. Key tasks include:
- Developing and implementing effective mechanisms for contract and risk management.
- Maintaining databases of suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
- Creating and monitoring framework agreements for Belgian cooperation programs.
- Preparing and supporting the legal and administrative components of contracts.
- Drafting procurement plans and publishing relevant information in appropriate channels.
- Delivering training on public procurement basics and advanced topics.
- Maintaining a contract register and ensuring proper reporting.
- Supporting audit processes and implementing their recommendations
Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree or more than 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of professional experience in public procurement and grants management.
- Contract management experience in an international context.
- Preferable: Experience in developing countries
