Role Purpose
This Kyiv-based position is responsible for the safe transportation of staff and visitors, and the provision of local support at office and operational locations. The role requires a high level of situational awareness, reliability, and discretion, with the ability to respond quickly and appropriately to security threats and other events requiring first-line support and triage.
Key ResponsibilitiesDriving & Transport Duties
Safely transport staff and visitors to and from operational locations, field sites, and partner facilities in accordance with approved movement plans.
Ensure vehicles are operated in a professional manner, adhering to traffic laws, security protocols, and company policies.
Conduct daily vehicle checks and routine maintenance to ensure roadworthiness, cleanliness, and proper documentation.
Maintain accurate vehicle logs, fuel records, and mileage reports.
Assist with journey planning as required.
Security Support
Monitor and assess local security conditions during movements; take appropriate actions to ensure passenger safety.
Ensure a consistent security presence at designated sites, especially during core hours (07.00 - 19.00) and overnight when on call.
Enforce access control procedures, including visitor identification checks and log maintenance.
Respond to security incidents, alarms, or emergencies in coordination with the Security and Logistics Manager.
Report suspicious activity, breaches, or hazards immediately to the appropriate focal point.
Incident Response & Staff Support
Act as a first point of contact for local staff and visitors during incidents, including accidents, security events, or personal emergencies.
Triage incidents to assess urgency and ensure timely communication with relevant internal focal points (eg, HR, Facilities Management, Security, Health & Safety).
Provide immediate support as needed and facilitate referrals to appropriate services including medical providers, legal assistance, or the IN2 country coordination office.
Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity when dealing with personnel issues or incidents, and document events in accordance with organizational procedures.
On-Call & Shift Duties
Participate in rotating shift schedules, including overnight and weekend shifts.
Be available for emergency call-outs during on-call shifts and ready to respond quickly to support urgent staff movements or incidents.
Maintain flexibility to support leave, surge periods, or other routine absences of other security staff.
Qualifications & Experience
Valid driver's license (group B), with clean driving record; minimum 5 years of driving experience in professional or security-related roles.
First Aid or basic emergency response training.
Physically fit and able to perform patrol duties, lift equipment, and remain alert for extended periods.
Experience working in security, military, police, or private security sectors preferred.
Good understanding of road safety, defensive driving techniques, and basic vehicle maintenance.
Familiarity with local geography, road networks, and security dynamics.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure or in emergency situations.
Ukrainian Native Speaker ; Upper Intermediate+ level of English is a must.
